St. Osyth Priory and Parish Trust introduce bespoke tours suitable for groups or organisations

St Osyth Priory and Parish Trust has launched a new programme of bespoke half-day and full-day organised tours. Suitable for groups and organisations the tours offer groups with the opportunity to experience the history, heritage and landscape of one of Essex’s most significant historic sites.

In addition to the tour itself, visitors can enjoy a tractor and trailer ride through the parkland, complete with commentary about the people who lived there over the centuries, as well as the chance to spot the estate’s white deer on the Mowing Ground.

Half-day tours are priced at £15 per person, with full-day tours available for £22 per person.

Guests booking the full-day experience are asked to bring a picnic, as catering facilities are not currently available, although tea and coffee will be provided by the Trust’s Volunteer team.

As a registered charity, St Osyth Priory and Parish Trust uses the income generated through organised tours to support the work of its Education Centre, which welcomes hundreds of children each year.
